strawberries & mint










Hello my loves! We are travelling the west coast and I am so enjoying all the fresh food and the chic restaurants around downtown. It is beautiful and green here in Vancouver, and I just cannot get enough of being out by the harbour, going for a run in the mornings, and visiting every little coffee shop we can find.

Today I’m excited to share with you this delicious strawberry choc mint smoothie. This smoothie is definitely a go-to for me when I am looking for a boost of energy and has some incredible flavors to boot[right]. It’s great as a breakfast or even a post-workout snack. Smoothies are totally my favorite pick me ups, especially when I am running late or having a busy day of errands. They are quick to make, and delicious to taste :)

// what you need:
+ 3-4 fresh strawberries
+ mint leaves
+ 1/2 frozen banana
+ 1 teaspoon chia seeds
+ 1 teaspoon flax seeds
+ 1/2 cup oats
+ 1 teaspoon coconut
+ a few squares of dark chocolate
+ handful of ice
+ 1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk

// blend all ingredients together in a blender, and enjoy! <3
