My Dermalogica Skincare Routine

Hello Lovelies! Since the dryer winter is setting in I thought I’d share a bit about my Dermalocica skincare routine and what I do to keep my skin glowing. I am an absolute fanatic when it comes to taking care of my skin. It is definitely one investment into my self-care that is a top priority. Ever since I was a little girl, my skin always changed with the seasons. It sometimes became so dry that any time I put lotion on it would just absolutely burn! I always had to be very careful about which products I used, and always took a bit of an adjustment period when switching products. However, I know I have truly found my long-time, forever brand!

I have been using Dermalogica since I was quite young and it has been the most amazing thing for my skin over the years. There are several different product lines within the Dermalogica brand, so make sure to get a skin/speed map done to get the right products matched to your skin type. For me, I always go with the more gentler lines; I start off with the special cleansing gel, which is aboslutely amazing on my skin because of the calming balm mint and lavendar extracts. The daily microfoliant is a great gentle exfoliant with an active enzyme component to remove the dead skin cells. For a moisturizer I alternate between the skin smoothing cream and the dynamic skin recovery. I top it off with the total eye care and use the concealing spot treatment for any trouble spots.

It is so important to take good care of your skin, especially when you live through the cold, dry winters. Two of my latest additions include the multivitamin power recovery masque and the phyto replenish oil. These are incredible for replenishing and re-energizing your skin, to give you that healthy glow! I hope that gives you a little insight into how I care for my skin. Getting to the perfect routine can take some time to build, but it is sure to pay off in the long-run. Xo
