Starting out as a new online entrepreneur can be an exciting yet daunting endeavour! Everything is new and unfamiliar, and sometimes can be a bit overwhelming.
There are some amazing tools available to use, the key is know where to find them and how to use them effectively to build your very own business. But where do you start? And how do you use them??
Building a business and life you love shouldn’t have to be scary! I have outlined FIVE of my favourite online business tools to help you get started. Familiarizing yourself with these incredible tools will take away that initial “fear of the unknown” and you will be off to a great start!
Here is my list:
EVERNOTE – Evernote is one of my personal favourites! It creates a unique workspace to get anything and everything done. Whether short lists or long research articles, here you will have uninterrupted writing time to build the best content possible. Evernote keeps you focused and moves your ideas from inspiration to completion. Not only can you create new content, but its also a unique way of gather everything together. You can pin relevant articles and capture hand-written notes all in one place. Of course everyone has their own preference, but you’d be missing out if you didn’t try this one for style!
BUFFER – Buffer is a great and easy way to stay on top of managing your social media. This app allows you to post on all of your accounts simultaneously. I use it as a way to schedule posts, drive traffic, increase fan engagement and save time on social media. Overall, Buffer is a simple yet powerful social media tool. Sign up today to simplify your life and get great results!
DROPBOX – File organization and sharing has never been easier! I have been using dropbox since my student days and haven’t left it since. Wherever you are, put you stuff in Dropbox and you’ll be able to access it from any device. This is great for all those mobile workers who are always in different “offices”. It’s also another fantastic way to share files with others without the hassle of physically giving them anything. Another important feature is the safety and security of Dropbox. Everything’s automatically private, so you control who sees what.
BLINKIST – I am someone who doesn’t always love to put time into reading big books, yet I love reading articles and short tid-bits to keep my knowledge up. Blinkist was a heaven-sent! They provide summarized versions of all the latest and greatest books out there! These summaries or “blinks” are powerful bites of insight from outstanding nonfiction. You can read a blink in less than two minutes, so with each book made up of about eight blinks, you can cover the work’s key insights in 15 minutes. A great time-saver and an incredible learning tool that I recommend for everyone out there!
TWEETDECK – Tweetdeck is the most powerful Twitter tool for real-time tracking, organizing and engagement. It enables you to create a customized Twitter experience where you can manage what you see, what gets posted, and what your user feed looks like. It is also a great way to monitor multiple timelines, filter searches, and keep track of your specific lists. I love using this app, especially on my computer so that I can have it all laid out in front of me.
Hope these helped! Now I would love to hear from you. What are some of your favourite online business tools, and how have they helped you gain success in your very own business?
All my love,
Xx
