Hello Lovelies! Can’t believe it’s already Friday, and what a better time for a delicious waffle cone full of creamy ice-cream! During the Fringe Festival in Saskatoon this summer, we had such a fun time perusing through all the food trucks, enjoying drinks and eats on the rooftop patio, and getting our fill of ice-cream to end off the night!
Before our stroll home, we stopped at the Mean Green Ice Cream Machine. Of course, I went for the maple walnut flavor while Linda had the cookies & cream – both so good! As the evening air cooled off, it was nothing but warm sweaters and coffee before bed. The perfect sweater weather to end off the perfect day! What are some of your favorite adventures this summer? <3

Hello lovelies! Today on the blog is a little #ThrowbackThursday to the amazing Dîner en Blanc event in Calgary. Dîner en Blanc is a world-wide event where guests show up all dressed in white, set up their picnic tables, and proceed to have a feast! The location for the event is revealed last minute, and this year in Calgary it took place at the Shaw Millenium Park. It was absolutely stunning with all the white tables on the big open park, with a fun atmosphere of music, eating, and even some dancing :)
Each year thousands of guests continue to gather at a secret location with the sole purpose of sharing a gourmet meal with good friends at the heart of one of our city’s most beautiful locations. This year I had the privilege to attend with several other blogger gals and guys, with a special tasting of the featured wines of the evening as well as some yummy eats prepared by Chef Andrew Gass. We had tons of fun and definitely enjoyed our beautiful city coming together to celebrate! Will you be attending the next Dîner en Blanc Calgary? <3

Hello babes! Happy Wednesday to you all :) Today on the blog is officially Wine-Wednesday! Recently we had the chance to try some amazing French wines especially sourced by Flying Wines right here in Calgary. Born and raised in the South of France, educated with the love of their country, Flying Wines wants to share their roots with all of us. They are passionate about their winemaker’s work and excited to introduce a little taste of France to Calgary.
Absolutely love being able to branch out and try new wines, and my new favorite is this Mâcon-Chaintré Chardonnay, which we got to try paired with a lemon poppy seed macaron. Just divine, and perfectly fresh for a fall afternoon! We took it along for a backyard birthday party, so I thought I’d share this fun, casual yet dressy look with you all on the blog today. Definitely crushing on this sea-green silk tank from H&M, paired with my favorite white jeans and my leather cross-body bag from Fossil. Check out all the links below to shop the look, and let me know in the comments some of your favorite new things to try in the city? <3

Happy Monday lovelies!:) What a lovely weekend it was. The most gorgeous days, although cold, it was filled with sunshine and a lot of golf! On top of that, one of my other favorite things for fall are cute kimono’s. So let’s take a second to talk about this lovely blue one! It’s perfect to throw on over a cool top to keep out the chilly air.
This is an absolutely gorgeous one from Due South that I got for my birthday from my lovely family. My favorite styling option is to throw it over this white tank from Express Clothing and a pair of distressed jeans and a dainty necklace from H&M. Of course I round it off with my Tory Burch Sandals and Kate Spade cross-body purse (which I love!). It was such a beautiful day on this shoot! The sun shining through the trees, before they even started losing any of their leaves. I absolutely love stocking up on summer staples this time of year, when all the sales are in full swing! What are some of your favorite end of summer traditions? <3

Hello Lovelies! It’s the weekend, and today on the blog I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite summer go-to’s… a perfectly chilled glass of Chateau Souverain Rosé! The story of Chateau Souverain begins with their founder, J. Leland “Lee” Stewart, who harvested his first crop of grapes from Howell Mountain vineyard in Napa Valley in 1944. Stewart used innovation and incredible standards along with his natural gift for winemaking to establish Souverain as one of the great wineries in California.
This summer they launched a brand new addition to their wines; introducing the Chateau Souverain Rosé, perfect for warm summer days and afternoons on the deck. Since the seasons are changing, I have pulled out the long sleeve and a cozy blanket to enjoy with a glass of rosé instead :) Whether it’s a spread of cheese and crackers, a bowl of fruit, or perhaps some s’mores by the fire, there is always a fun weekend occasion for the tastes of Napa Valley wines. What are some of your favorite summer memories? <3
